This job entails delivery and pickup of FedEx packages at homes and businesses. It is a physically demanding position requiring a quick pace and occasionally lifting heavy objects up to 150 pounds. We emphasize here that the most successful drivers are able to move at a fast pace while maintaining perfect safety records. Laggards (i.e. “slow movers”) and unsafe employees will not succeed here. If you meet our standards, we will pay for you to train in our driver school. You will then be qualified to drive for FedEx anywhere in the country. You do not need a CDL or any commercial driving experience to qualify for this position, but you do need to have a great attitude!

Our delivery operations run 7 days per week. All drivers are expected to work some weekends. We also have dedicated part-time positions for weekend drivers to work one or both weekend days. Part-time weekend drivers are paid at premium rates. Normal workday is 7-10 hours. The length of a driver’s workday is dependent on the amount of packages going out for delivery that day, and by the pace at which he or she works. Starting salary is commensurate with experience but is generally in the range of $750-$900 per week. Exceptional candidates may start at a higher salary. Our discretionary bonus system rewards excellent performance with an additional $60/week. We also offer fully paid CDL Class A training to our top drivers who would like to transfer to our linehaul (tractor trailer) division.

Sounds great? The catch is that we are highly selective. We only hire candidates who meet exceptional standards. Only the highest caliber applicants will be accepted into this program.

If hired, you will complete a comprehensive hands-on driver training program in FedEx-branded trucks and will be qualified to drive by FedEx anywhere in the country. (We also accept experienced drivers)
